EXCITING NEWS TO SHARE THIS MORNING!
As many of you know, in October this year, Nathan, our young volunteer will head out to Mombasa in Kenya to attend the World YMCA Accelerator Summit. This is an amazing opportunity – an international event bringing together over 2000 YMCA delegates from across the world to explore and develop the YMCA Vision 2030.
And we now have more exciting news to share! Gemma, our Cupar Youth Café Co-ordinator will be joining Nathan and the YMCA Scotland delegation too.
Having recently graduated from University of Dundee with a 1st Class BA degree in Community Education, she has been invited to present her university research paper highlighting our early work here in Cupar implementing Vision 2030. What an opportunity for Gemma – and we are so thrilled that our work here in Cupar will be shared with the world!
This will be a life changing experience for them both and they will return to Cupar with new skills, experiences and ideas which will have a huge impact on our work locally.
As we continue to fundraise to cover the costs of this trip, we fully acknowledge the support you have all already shown to Nathan through our JustGiving page. Your kindness is so much appreciated.
If you would like to support us in now funding this experience for both Nathan and Gemma, please follow this link to our JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/…/nathansYMCAjourneytomombas…
